When we debuted the vertical Elsa Drop Table Murphy bed back in 2007, customers responded favorably to the added functionality the table. The Wallbed Factory engineering team worked on several prototypes before deciding on the final product. The table needed to be just the right height for ergonomics and needed to be easy to operate. The Elsa Collection allows you to utilize your space to its fullest extent with a convenient built-in table that is there when you need it, and out of sight when you don’t. Lower the table when the bed is not in use and you have an instant craft or sewing table, a desk, small dining table, instant coffee table or an expansion to your entertaining or work area. In fact, our Elsa Murphy bed tables can hold up to 100 pounds!.
We handcraft each Murphy bed table or desk from the same high quality oak and maple that we use to construct our Murphy beds. Our Murphy bed desk also feature solid wood tabletops, giving your table a seamless finish.
When space is at a premium, the Elsa Murphy bed, available in vertical or horizontal configurations, provides an innovative way to capture even more space.
